Evans
Rebuilding Family and a Future
Evans was one of the first boys supported by Gap Kenya to leave life on the streets in 2014. After joining the programme, he moved into a foster home and began his education, progressing through primary and secondary school.
During his time in high school, Evans was successfully reunited with his parents. With ongoing support from Gap Kenya, he was able to spend time back with his family while continuing his education.
Following the completion of his secondary education, Evans secured a place at university in Mombasa, where he studied Mechanical Engineering. During this period, he continued to receive support from the foster home.
Today, Evans has graduated and is living independently, equipped with the skills and education to build a stable and self-sufficient future.
